A byelection will take place in Gander next month. It has been set for June 13 at the Steele Community Centre Sports Hall of Fame.
A candidate information session will be held on May 10 starting at 10:00 a.m. for anyone considering running. The session will give an overview of the election process, as well as the roles and responsibilities of an elected official.
Nominations will be accepted May 16, 17 and 18 at the town hall during normal business hours.
