RNC on the west coast arrested a man after a disturbance at the New Garden Restaurant on West Street.
The incident happened over the supper hour yesterday.
Police say a 46-year-old man assaulted an officer and resisted arrest. He has also been charged with mischief.
He was released to appear later.
