The results of the big game licence draw are now available online.
Big game season begins September 9 in most areas of the island and Labrador. The hunt closes on the island December 31, and on March 10 in Labrador.
Moose quotas on the island are 27,575 licences, including 3,930 non-resident and 460 not-for profit licences. The moose quota in Labrador is 340 animals.
The caribou quota on the island is 575 licences but caribou hunting is still prohibited in Labrador.
