Josh Lepawsky says the university could have taken another approach.
“If the Board of Regents intended to protect the university’s reputation, it should have engaged in ‘an open, and an honest discussion with students, with faculty, staff and the broader public'” says Lepawsky.
Lepawsky says it’s an example of the corporate approach the university has been taking in recent years.
