The East Coast Trail Association is preparing for its 30th anniversary next year with the launch today of a new website and promotional video.

Trail enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers gathered at Quidi Vidi Brewery in St John’s for today’s web launch.

The East Coast Trail Association was created 29 years ago with a mission to showcase the Avalon Peninsula’s east coast through the creation of the trail network, now recognized far and wide.

Association President, Randy Murphy says the new video, launched on YouTube today, features raw footage obtained from a video series released last year called Epic Trails that follows backpacker, Eric Hansen. Murphy says they partnered with M5 Marketing and Communications to compile the piece.
