The minister of Labrador Affairs says a fixed link between Newfoundland and Labrador remains a priority.
Lisa Dempster attended the Northern Development Minister’s Forum in Churchill, Manitoba this week.
She says Labrador residents remain isolated due to weather conditions and geography.
Dempster indicated that she was pleased to keep the conversation going with her federal counterparts to keep the concept of a fixed link high on the agenda.
She says access is the key to prosperity and future growth in Labrador.
