RNC are hoping to hear from people with information to share in relation to their ongoing investigation into a number of related sexual assault cases in the metro region dating back decades.
Two men are facing a long list of charges and police believe it’s possible that more people may come forward with information on the case.
Sixty-two-year-old Tony Humby and 80-year-old Bruce Escott are each charged with a number of offences stemming from multiple complaints related to incidents involving young people—primarily young boys.
The RNC has set up an e-mail address that will connect people with information directly to investigators in the case.
Constable James Cadigan says police have information that dates back to the 1990s and those with information they want to share are being encouraged to do so.
The direct email address is part of a trauma-informed and survivor-centered approach to investigations involving sexual assault.
Those who want to reach out with information can reach the investigators directly at reach@rnc.gov.nl.ca or call the RNC at 709-726-8000.
