A 22-year-old Tilton man has been arrested and charged with impaired driving after a pickup was found in a ditch in Shearstown on the weekend.
RCMP received a call about a truck in the ditch on Shearstown Road around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, June 10.
Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and open alcohol was found inside the truck.
The driver provided breath samples above the legal limit and was charged with impaired driving.
His licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded. He’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
