A 36-year-old woman has been charged following a head-on collision on Connors Valley Road in Bristol’s Hope near Carbonear.
RCMP were called following the crash shortly after midnight on Saturday, June 10. There were no serious injuries.
Police say the woman showed signs of impairment at the scene and she provided breath samples at the local detachment that were more than two times the legal limit.
The woman has been charged with impaired driving, her license was suspended and her vehicle impounded.
She’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
