The RNC is continuing its crackdown on graffiti in the greater metro region.
Const. James Cadigan says when people think of graffiti they often think of something with more artistic merit on public structures.
But Cadigan says police are setting their sights on the recent proliferation of tags and obscenities sprayed randomly on private property from St. John’s to C.B.S.
“This is a case where it’s damaging to property, private property,” says Cadigan, “often resulting in added expense to the property owner who must deal with the cleanup.”
The RNC are requesting assistance with identifying the suspect of spray paint property damage in the downtown area of St. John’s.
If you can assist, please contact the RNC at 729-8000, or report anonymously with @NLCrimeStoppers. #PropertyDamage pic.twitter.com/LId0cNwFxh
