The buzz is continuing to grow in Grand Falls-Windsor ahead of the annual Exploits Valley Salmon Festival.
The festival, which was revamped a few years back, will include performances from local musicians, along with a number of free activities.
Mayor Barry Manuel says the idea is to make the five-day festival as accessible and affordable as possible.
A free adventure day offering kayaking and rafting lessons will be put off at Gorge Park with ziplining available at a reduced price. The Ennis Sisters will also be headlining a free concert at Church Road Park on Friday evening.
This year’s Salmon Fest runs from July 13-17. A full list of events can be found online.
