A Brigus couple is offering a new, accessible way to get around the town at no cost.
Stephanie and Fraser Drover offer free tours of the community through a carriage ride powered by an electric bicycle.
Drover says they were inspired by issues they faced getting around with their daughter who has mobility issues.
After using the bike to help their daughter get outside, they decided to take it a step further and offer it to seniors and to anyone else looking for an accessible way to get around.
She says the initiative has been a hit with both locals and tourists.
Drover says it’s heartwarming. What started as a small gesture for the locals, has become something bigger and better than ever before she says.
Anyone looking to book a ride can contact Drover on Facebook.
