Three teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in Torbay in May.

Police were notified of an altercation at a field party in the area of the Torbay Bypass Road around 12:18 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31.

A 17-year-old boy was treated for injuries as a result of the incident.

Police say three people have been charged. An 18-year-old man has been charged with forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, and uttering threats.

Two 17-year-old boys have also being charged. They are both facing charges of sexual assault, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.

The accused have been released to appear in court at a later date.
