RNC have provided an update on a situation in the Cabot Street area of the capital city.

Officers initially believed there was a weapons offence in progress and converged on the scene, however it was determined there was no weapons offence underway.

The investigation into the report remains actives. The parties involved in the incident are believed to be known to each other.
