Police have concluded a search in the community of Goose Cove this evening, once again with the suspect they are looking for, who they say is armed and violent.
RCMP issued a public alert shortly after 8:30 Thursday night, advising residents in the area of Goose Cove, near North Harbour, to expect an increase in police, and to remain in their homes.
The RCMP are continuing their investigation and have extended an appreciation to the public, particularly those living in areas impacted by Mr. Farrell still being at large.

RCMP have been looking for 36-year-old Tony Farrell of Marystown since Wednesday afternoon, when the community of Swift Current — about 120 kilometres south of Goose Cove — was locked down with the main road blocked by police.
Residents there were also urged to stay inside with windows and doors locked.
A search involving drones, door-to-door checks, and tracking with the canine unit failed to find Farrell, who is wanted on a number of serious charges and is believed to be armed.
The charges include dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of failing to stop for police, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and breach of probation.
In 2021, Farrell was found guilty of breaking into a bar in Salt Pond and stealing thousands of dollars from a bank machine.
Anyone who sees him should immediately call 911.
