RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay have arrested a man following an active threat in the community.
An emergency alert was issued after 5:00 p.m., warning residents of a “criminal threat” in the White Crescent area of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. People were asked to remain inside, lock the doors, and stay away from windows.
RCMP says they have safely taken a man into custody, and residents are free to resume normal activities.
