The Town of Conception Bay South has officially cut the ribbon on a new accessible trail at Topsail Beach.
Mayor Darrin Bent says the 150 meter trail goes from the parking lot down to the beach.
He says the trail helps make the area more accessible for people with mobility limitations—such as those in wheelchairs, seniors, and families with young children.
He says the trail brings people up to a firepit that they can enjoy as well.
Today Minister @PaulPikeMHA was pleased to celebrate the new accessibility enhancements at Topsail Beach Rotary Park in @TownofCBS. The installation of a 150 meter accessible trail pathway will help to enhance accessibility and inclusion for everyone. #GovNL pic.twitter.com/NvHbFImH9c
