The final is set for the 2023 Johnson Insurance Challenge Trophy men’s soccer championship, with a rematch of last year’s matchup set for Sunday.
Defending champions Holy Cross defeated Paradise 2-0 after a tense game that was left scoreless until the 72nd minute. Hashem Khalifa broke the deadlock, while Brent Hennebury added the insurance goal.
The second semi-final would come down to injury time for the decider, as Feildians edged out a victory over host CBS S’Pairs Optical, 2-1.
The finals are set for 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Topsail Field in CBS.
