Happy City St. John’s is hosting an Active Streets Festival today down at the Pedestrian Mall.
The event will celebrate active transportation and lively streets.
It is taking place near Soloman’s Lane and will include bike tune-ups, face painting and other activities.
As well, Happy City will be showcasing their new interactive map that links accessible bus rotes and the city’s snow clearing priorities.
People are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters, and other mobility devices.
The event is happening from noon until 4 p.m.
