A market celebrating African, Jamaican and Black-Canadian culture is taking place in the capital city this week.
The annual Black-Owned Vendor market is returning to George Street for its third installment. The market hopes to enhance visibility of black-owned businesses and celebrate diversity in the city.
This year’s market features a mix of vendors and live music and dance, along with a theatrical production centered around Afrocentric culture.
The market takes place September 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
