The NLESD says the social and emotional safety and academic well-being of all students is their top priority as the new school year begins.
CEO of the English School District, Terry Hall says they’re aware that students, and their families are feeling the strain.
“There’s all kinds of challenges out there today” says Hall, but they want to ensure that schools in the province are a safe place for students to thrive and learn.
