RCMP is investigating a dramatic break-in and theft from Mr. Bishop’s Convenience Store in Pasadena early Monday morning.
Police say a truck, stolen from Deer Lake, and believed to have been used during the crime, was later found engulfed in flame.
RCMP say the suspect or suspects entered the store by breaking the front window by ramming into it with a vehicle.
A safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from inside.
The stolen truck, a black 2015 GMC Sierra, was found on fire in a wooded area near Lakeside Drive in Pasadena a short time later.
Police are asking anyone for surveillance footage or information to share to contact Deer Lake RCMP at 635-2173 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
