A community organization that helps adults with special needs is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week.
The Geraldine Rubia Centre in the Capital City was founded by its namesake in 1983, offering inclusive activities and programs.
The centre has eight days of activities planned to celebrate the milestone.
Things kick off this Thursday, September 14 with an opening ceremony, which will include the launch of their new website, and end with a big dinner the following Thursday, September 21.
