Two women are facing charges of theft following an incident in Carbonear over the weekend.
The RCMP were called just before noon on Sunday after items were stolen from a vehicle parked on Adelaide Street.
The vehicle involved in the theft was captured on surveillance footage.
A short time later that vehicle was located on Harvey Street in Harbour Grace.

Two women, aged 42 and 26, were found to be in possession of the stolen items and arrested.
Police say the younger woman, who was driving, tested positive for cannabis at the scene.
Both women have been released to appear in court at a later date.
The driver is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and a breach of probation. Police are awaiting test results to determine if impaired driving charges are appropriate.
The passenger in the vehicle is facing a single charge of theft under $5,000.
