The Labrador Affairs Minister says a partnership with Nunavut will be beneficial for both jurisdictions due to shared challenges.
Lisa Dempster has just wrapped up extensive meetings with government ministers in the territory, speaking on a variety of issues seen by both Labrador and Nunavut.

It is the first trip Dempster has taken since an MOU signed between the two regions back in February.
Dempster says there are a lot of similarities between Labrador and Nunavut.

She says like Labrador, Nunavut has a large land mass but sparse population, as well as difficulties with transportation, goods and housing.
