Paradise families are consolidating their efforts to ensure that funding for a high school for the community is included in the next provincial budget.
Matthew Crest told VOCM Open Line that a school is an essential part of any community, especially a young one like Paradise.
He says the provincial government is looking for people to come to the province to settle and contribute to the economy, and he’s one of them. Crest, who moved to Paradise, says it’s a great community in which to live, “but it doesn’t make sense to me that there’s no high school for my kids.”
