The province has awarded a $120,000 contract to look at expanding seats in MUN’s Doctor of Medicine undergraduate program.
Government and the university want to see the program grow by an additional 10 students per year—amounting to 40 new students in total for the four year program.
Spindle Strategy Corporation is being tasked with looking at what would be required, including a potential building expansion, staffing resources, and equipment.
It is anticipated that the review will be complete by next summer.
