A 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday following an incident at the Mary Brown’s Centre.
At 6:34 p.m., RNC responded to a call at the downtown St. John’s arena, where witnesses advised police that a man had assaulted another man at the event.
Police located and arrested a 27-year-old male, charging him with; assault with a weapon, assault x 2, assault of a peace officer, causing a disturbance and breach of a release order.
The male was held for court in the morning.
Injuries sustained during the event were described as minor.
