The first residential hospice in the province is preparing to open its doors.
The Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor is set to mark its official opening November 23.
The hospice aims to improve the quality of life for people living with progressive illness and their families through holistic care, education and research.
Tours and open houses of the facility will also be held, with residents moving in shortly after the opening events.
