A 40-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges following a crash in Avondale on the weekend.
RCMP were patrolling in the area around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning when they located a car that had recently left the main highway and crashed into trees and two vehicles parked in a residential driveway.
The woman was taken back to the detachment were she provided breath samples that were above the legal limit according to RCMP.
She is now facing a charge of impaired driving. Her license was suspended and her vehicle was seized and impounded.
She was released to appear in court at a later date.
