The RNC has made two arrests in connection with the recent theft of a vehicle in St. John’s.
On Sunday, RNC patrol officers noticed a vehicle that was reported stolen parked in the centre city area.
As the officer approached, two men got out and walked to a nearby home. One of the two men was arrested by police, but the other got in the house and then ran from the rear of the property.
Thirty-three-year-old Justin Hollihan of St. John’s was charged with possession of property obtained by crime. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
The second man, identified by officers as 38-year-old Craig Pope of St. John’s, was arrested on a warrant in the area of Hoyle’s Avenue on Monday.
