A woman is in the lockup after an incident at Colonial Building in St. John’s yesterday afternoon in which people were threatened by a person wielding an axe.
Several RNC officers descended on the area just before 5:00.
The 24-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, resisting arrest and mischief. She will appear in court today.
