Two drivers were recently pulled over on the Burin Peninsula for speeding well above the posted limit.
RCMP say just before noon on Tuesday a vehicle was pulled over near Grand Beach after being clocked at 154 km/h. A few hours later another vehicle was stopped by patrol officers near Terrenceville for driving up to 150 km/h.
The two drivers, aged 24 and 53 were ticketed for excessive speeding and their licences were suspended.
