The province is launching a new dashboard to monitor all respiratory illnesses in the province.
Most people are familiar with government’s COVID dashboard outlining confirmed COVID cases in the province. The frequency of updates has dropped from daily, to weekly and now to once a month.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald will introduce a new dashboard today that will incorporate confirmed cases of seasonal influenza and other respiratory illnesses including COVID.
A news conference introducing the new dashboard and how it works is taking place this afternoon at noon.
