A man has been arrested after numerous vehicles in downtown St. John’s were broken into.
The RNC were first called around mid-afternoon Sunday following the report of a theft at a residence. The suspect in that case left the home before officers arrived, but after investigating, they connected the 22-year-old to the vehicle break-ins.
He was held in custody on charges of assault, theft and breach of probation.
