A 31-year-old Bell Island man is facing numerous drug-related charges after drugs and related paraphernalia were found inside his vehicle.
Last Thursday, RCMP received a report of a suspicious man in a vehicle parked in a public parking lot.
RCMP seized over 30 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, items consistent with drug trafficking, a large amount of cash, and contraband cigarettes from the vehicle.
As well, according to police the man showed signs of drug impairment. They are awaiting test results to determine if impaired driving charges will be laid.
The man has been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date on charges of trafficking, possession of unstamped tobacco, and possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime.
