Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is hosting the 19th Canada-EU Leaders’ Summit in St. John’s this week.
Trudeau will host President of the European Council, Charles Michel and President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen this Thursday and Friday.
Among the topics of discussion are job creation, climate change, halting the loss of biodiversity, innovation, technology and research and building the middle class.
Promotion of democracy, human rights, clean energy, gender equality and rule of law are among the social issues to be discussed as well.
