A Corner Brook man is facing charges related to drug trafficking after he was pulled over in the west coast city yesterday.

The RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West allege that when 54-year-old Blair Forsey was pulled over on O’Connell Drive, a search of his vehicle turned up a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, cash, drug paraphernalia, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Police say that Forsey, who is currently before the court on other drug-related charges, was found to be in breach of a court order.

He appeared in court today on new charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and failing to comply with a release order.

The investigation continues.
