Egyptian and Qatari officials say Hamas has agreed to release 13 Israelis and seven foreigners today in exchange for 39 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
It would be the second group of hostages released since the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7th, as a four-day cease-fire holds.
The swap was delayed for several hours when Hamas claimed Israel had not complied with the deal’s terms and failed to deliver enough aid to Gaza, where food and fuel shortages are rampant.
The U-N agency for Palestinian refugees said 196 trucks of aid entered the enclave yesterday, and Israel says four fuel trucks and four tanks of gas entered today.
