Dean, who played for four seasons with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL, put up 33 goals and 70 points in 50 games in his final junior season, and was traded from Vegas to the St. Louis Blues last season. He is currently building his way in their organization with the Blues’ affiliate in Springfield.
The 20-year-old forward has three points in 16 games, playing alongside the likes of NHL vets Matthew Peca and Adam Gaudette.
