UPDATE: The missing man has been found safe

The RNC have arrested a 50 year old man for an assault in the Elizabeth Avenue area of St. John’s last night.
Upon arrival to the scene at 12:30 am last night, officers determined the victim did not sustain any injuries. The unnamed 50 year old suspect, a man, was still at the scene, was arrested and is now charged with assault.
It was later determined there was also an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The man is currently being held to appear in court.
