The Auditor General’s audit reports on Nalcor Energy will be the subject of a public hearing tomorrow.
Both of the reports released by Denise Hanrahan one year ago revealed questionable financial practices by the organization, including compensation for executives far higher than what’s seen in the public service.
The Public Accounts Committee has requested an action plan from NL Hydro for the implementation of the recommendations from both reports.
During the hearing, officials from Hydro, including President Jennifer Williams, will answer questions from the committee on the reports and their response.
The hearing will take place in the House of Assembly.
The public galleries will be open and the proceedings will be streamed online.
