NAPE President Jerry Earle is raising the alarm about what he considers is another example of “privatization creep” in the health care system.

Earle took to X, formerly known as Twitter, this afternoon after learning that a private health care provider was conducting a vaccine clinic at Confederation Building today.

I’m hearing that a private healthcare provider is doing the vaccine clinic at the Confederation Building today.

This is a slap in the face to public sector workers, including those in Public Health.

Earle calls that a “slap in the face to public sector workers.”

He says while the clinic itself is not a bad thing, it’s being conducted by a private provider, when Public Health is just down the corridor. “I’m quite taken aback,” says Earle.
