A vigil to remember those who have died by suicide is taking place in the capital city this weekend.
The annual ceremony hopes to honour loved ones and provide support to grieving family and friends.
Kim Kelly, one of the organizers, says the service will include music, prayer, candle lighting, and a photo slideshow. So far, they will be remembering over 200 people.
She says the gathering allows family and friends to remember their loved ones for who they were, while also giving them a space to grieve together.
The vigil is scheduled to take place at St. Mark’s Anglican Church on Logy Bay Road at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and will be livestreamed on Facebook.
