One man has been arrested following an incident in Norris Point that began late Thursday night.
RCMP took to social media to alert the public of an unfolding situation on Main Street, asking the public to avoid the area and stay inside their homes.
At about 1 a.m., police provided an update on the arrest. They say residents can now resume normal activities.
Police remain in the area as the investigation continues.
