A 21-year-old woman was sent to hospital and a man has been charged with assault with a weapon following a domestic disturbance in Corner Brook.
The incident happened on Gillam’s Road at about 9:00 yesterday morning.
The RNC say arrested a 26-year-old man and also charged him with assault causing bodily harm and damaging property. He has been released to appear later.
The woman’s injuries were not life-threatening.
