RCMP in Port Saunders are trying to track down and arrest two people who they say are hiding from them.

Forty-three-year-old Owen Blair Barnes is wanted in connection with a number of crimes committed in the communities of Port Saunders, Port au Choix and Hawkes Bay from December 9th-19th.

Barnes, who police say is evading them, has several charges pending against him, including two counts each of fleeing from police and theft under $5,000, and four counts of failing to comply with conditions of court release orders.

When last seen, Barnes had light-colored short facial hair and was wearing a black hooded coat and red ball cap.

Meanwhile, Port Saunders RCMP are also on the lookout for a 40-year-old woman from the same community.

Danielle Melina Wight, who has long, dark brown hair and brown eyes, is wanted on two charges of theft under $5,000.
