The transportation critic says not having 24/7 snow clearing is putting residents in a dangerous situation.
Loyola O’Driscoll says he’s received numerous calls from people who must commute to work early in the morning and are met with treacherous road conditions.

A few months ago, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister John Abbott said reinstating round-the-clock snow clearing was not in the offing—something O’Driscoll calls a “mistake” on government’s part.
Even with snow plows hitting the roads before dawn, O’Driscoll says that’s still not good enough.
He says it still takes several hours to clear all the roadways, even if you get an early start. He’s calling on the province to take action before something happens and it’s too late.
