A fishing trawler that ran into trouble near Black Tickle, Labrador earlier this week is back up and running safely.
The Northern Osprey III began taking on water Sunday morning and called in the Canadian Coast Guard for assistance. No crew members were injured.

A team of divers were deployed to make external repairs to allow the vessel to travel back to port. Those repairs have since been completed and there is no longer any risk of flooding.
The trawler is now en route to St. John’s without any further assistance.
