The provincial government has signed a collective agreement with the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association.
Highlights of the agreement include a two per cent wage increase each year between 2022 and 2026, a one time $2,000 teacher recognition bonus, recruitment and retention incentives for rural and remote areas, and improvements to the recruitment process.
The Association represents 6,500 educators and administrators across the province.
